Carr & Day & Martin, alongside Connolly’s RED MILLS and Foran Equine, is proud to be named Title Sponsors of the Irish Pony Society (IPS) for the 2026 season. This partnership reflects a shared commitment to horse welfare, rider education, and supporting young riders from grassroots through to top-level competition.

As part of the RED MILLS Group, the three brands work together to support every aspect of equine wellbeing. Carr & Day & Martin brings over 260 years of trusted expertise in horse care, delivering premium grooming and care products designed to keep horses looking and feeling their best, both in and out of the ring.

Partnership Launch

The partnership will officially launch on 1 April 2026 at the RDS Working Hunter Training Day at Mullingar Equestrian Centre. The team will be on hand to offer practical advice on turnout, grooming, and competition preparation.

Supporting Riders Throughout the Season

Carr & Day & Martin, together with RED MILLS and Foran Equine, will support all nine IPS area shows with in-kind prizes. Special recognition will also be given to the Best Turned Out Pony across all 25 Championships at the IPS Championship Show in Mullingar on 15–16 August 2026.

A key focus of the partnership is education. Throughout the season, IPS members will have access to expert guidance on grooming, presentation, and horse care, alongside broader advice on nutrition and supplementation. Seasonal content will cover:

  • Preparing horses for the season ahead
  • Maintaining condition during competition
  • Achieving championship-level turnout
  • End-of-season care and recovery

A Shared Vision

Speaking about the partnership, Pat Walsh, Office Co-Ordinator of the Irish Pony Society, said:

“The IPS prides itself on nurturing its members at grassroots level while supporting excellence at the highest standards of competition. Connolly’s RED MILLS, Foran Equine and Carr & Day & Martin share those values, and we are delighted to welcome them as our Premier Sponsors for 2026. This partnership will bring real value to our members through education, visibility and consistent support throughout the season.”

Jane Davis, Head of Marketing at Connolly’s RED MILLS, added:

“We are very proud to partner with the Irish Pony Society, an organisation that represents the future of Irish equestrian sport. Across Connolly’s RED MILLS, Foran Equine and Carr & Day & Martin, our shared focus is always the horse — nourishing with feed, supporting with supplements, and caring through trusted grooming and horse care solutions.”

Looking Ahead

With Ireland preparing to host the Working Hunter Europeans in 2027, this collaboration marks an important step in supporting the next generation of riders while ensuring the highest standards of horse care and presentation.

Further updates and educational resources will be shared across IPS and RED MILLS Group channels during the season.
