Proven to prevent sweet itch. AVM-GSL licensed product with active ingredient benzyl benzoate in a soothing lotion, specially formulated for horses. If used as a preventative measure in early Spring prior to the symptoms becoming evident, the condition may not take hold.
Apply while wearing gloves to all affected areas by rubbing in with fingers or soft cloth as soon as sweet itch is diagnosed and for the remaining part of the sweet itch season. Initial application of Killitch® (75ml) should be made twice daily, reducing to once daily and then 3-4 times a week as the irritation lessens. All affected areas should be kept clean by shampooing and rinsing well at least once a week. After shampooing or heavy exercise, re-apply to ensure adequate protection. With horses which are known to suffer from sweet itch, it is recommended that Killitch® is applied in the early spring before symptoms become evident, so that the condition may never take a hold.
Killitch has really helped my boy this summer. It’s kept the flies away and has stopped him itching. It’s definitely a staple in his spring/summer kit!

Have tried many lotions on my pony who suffers with sweet itch mainly on her main and tail and nothing has worked like this , I found one lotion that calmed it slightly but never stopped the itching and I’ve Got all the rugs to help but she still scratches through them. In March she started itching her main and rubbed her hair thin however I found killitch and purchased quickly trusting all the good reviews and it’s been worth every penny 🙂 within the first 2 days of using it she has stopped scratching completely and hair could start growing again . I’m applying to tail too and still no sign of scratching even with large amount of midges atm. After about 2 weeks of using every day I reduced to applying once every 4 or so days and she’s still not scratching . So thankful I found this product because my girl is finally itch free!!!

We had never tried Killitch before, but I am so glad that we’ve had the opportunity to. The product works wonders!
My boy Bailey has suffered with sweet itch his entire life and we have spent the last 12-13 years trying product after product in mostly vain attempts of helping soothe his irritations. He will itch and itch until he’s red raw all over. Or rather, he would. Since trying the Killitch he has been so much better. We haven’t been brave enough to leave him completely without a rug, but he’s no longer frantically scratching the second he comes into his stable and now spends his days just in a fly rug rather than a full on sweet itch rug. He is noticeably less bothered by midges and regular flies than the rest of the horses on our yard.
Last year his sweet itch got so bad that I couldn’t ride because he’d rubbed his withers and back so badly that he couldn’t stand the pressure of a saddle, now however, (fingers crossed that I don’t jinx anything!) you wouldn’t be able to tell from looking at Bailey that he even has sweet itch any more. He’s not being bothered by the flies as he works, so his quality of work has improved.
He has a patch of hair missing from where he itched his tail before we started using the Killitch, but that will grow back in time, and we will make sure to start using Killitch earlier next year and then I’m confident that we might finally manage to have a year with no hair loss at all!
I’ve already recommended it to the other owners of sweet itch horses on the yard and they all agree that the results on Bailey speak for themselves. Thank you for making such a wonderful product! It has quickly become our number one go to.

I’m really pleased with how well Killitch is working. I’ve now got a simple management system in place for my extremely sensitive Sweet Itch boy Marmite. Killitch combed through mane and tail (and massaged in when I can get near his sore neck) is resulting in minimal rubbing now. Great product…working well.
