Britain’s oldest horse care brand deepens commitment to equine welfare with expanded sponsorship and charitable giving initiative.

Carr & Day & Martin, global leaders in equine care since 1765, is proud to announce the expansion of its partnership with World Horse Welfare, becoming an Official Care Supporter across all four of the charity’s rescue and rehoming centres.

Following three successful years supporting Hall Farm Rescue and Rehoming Centre, the partnership will now extend to World Horse Welfare’s four centres across the UK, helping to support the vital care, rehabilitation and rehoming of horses, ponies, donkeys and mules in need.

As part of the expanded partnership, Carr & Day & Martin will also donate £1 from every tub of Cornucrescine Daily Hoof Balm Clear and Cornucrescine Daily Hoof Balm Black sold between 1 May 2026 and 30 April 2027, helping to raise both awareness and funds for the charity’s essential work.

Caroline Davis, Brand Manager at Carr & Day & Martin, commented:

“We’re delighted to be expanding our support with World Horse Welfare as an Official Care Supporter across four of their farms.

This enables us to play a direct role in supporting the care of horses, while also introducing a cause-related marketing campaign that helps raise awareness and funds for the charity’s essential work. It’s a natural fit that reflects our shared commitment to the care of horses welfare and making a positive, lasting impact.”

Carr & Day & Martin will continue to supply grooming and care products to support the day-to-day care of horses and ponies across the charity’s centres, helping teams prepare horses for rehabilitation, assessment, and rehoming. The company will also continue to support fundraising and engagement activities through prize donations for events and competitions.

Peter Rowbottom, Director of Fundraising at World Horse Welfare, welcomed the expanded partnership:

“We’re very grateful to Carr & Day & Martin for their generous sponsorship of our Hall Farm stableyard for the last three years, which has made a significant positive difference to horses in need. We’re absolutely delighted to see their support now expand to encompass all four of our farms, helping even more horses, ponies, donkeys and mules in the run up to our centenary.”

The partnership reflects a shared commitment between both organisations to improving the lives of horses and promoting the highest standards of care and welfare throughout the equestrian community.
